Attendance, leave and payroll, without the spreadsheet.

Keep your team’s records in the same system as your sales and operations: who is in today, who is on leave, what balance they have left, and what they are paid this month.

Problems this solves

Problem

Leave approved on chat

Balances are worked out by hand, and disputes follow.

Problem

Attendance on paper

Absences are found only when salaries are calculated.

Problem

Payroll in a spreadsheet

Loss-of-pay days and deductions are calculated by hand every month.

Problem

Employee records scattered

Joining dates, managers and departments live in different files.

Employees and departments

Each employee has a code, department, designation, reporting manager, employment type (full time, part time, contract or intern), joining date, work location and status. Departments can be nested, each with a head.

  • Link an employee to their NCRM user
  • Statuses for active, on leave, resigned and terminated
  • Upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries for the team

Attendance with check-in and check-out

Employees check in and check out, or attendance is marked for them: present, absent, half day, on leave, holiday, week off or work from home. A monthly register and summary show the whole team at once.

  • Monthly attendance register
  • Holiday calendar with public, restricted, optional and company holidays
  • Import holidays from CSV

Leave types, balances and approvals

Define leave types with an annual quota, paid or unpaid, and carry-forward. Employees request leave, including half days, and approvers accept or reject with a note. Balances update automatically.

  • Leave types with your own names and colours
  • Half-day at the start or end of a range
  • Leave balances and a summary for each employee

Payroll runs and payslips

Give each employee a salary structure with earnings and fixed deductions. PF, ESI and professional tax are opt-in. Run payroll for a month: loss-of-pay days come from attendance, payslips are generated, and the run is finalised when you are happy.

  • Salary structures with an effective date
  • Pay prorated by paid days
  • Re-run a draft before you finalise it

Workflow example

How it plays out in a real week.

An illustrative example, using the steps NCRM supports.

  1. 9:30Employees check in. The register shows who is in, who is on leave and who is working from home.
  2. 11:00A leave request for a half day arrives. The manager approves it, and the balance updates.
  3. Month endPayroll is run for the month. Absences become loss-of-pay days, payslips are generated and finalised.

Who it’s for

Business use cases

  • SMEs managing 10 to 200 employees without a separate HR tool
  • Factories and offices with attendance-based pay
  • Owners who approve leave themselves

FAQ

Questions

Is HRMS on every plan?

Basic leave management is an optional add-on on Ignite and included on Elevate. Attendance, payroll and advanced HRMS are add-ons, and Infinitive is scoped to your needs. See pricing.

Does payroll handle PF, ESI and professional tax?

Yes, as opt-in settings in each salary structure. Nothing is deducted unless you switch it on.
